Oreocharis zhenpingensis (Gesneriaceae), a new species from Shaanxi, China

ABSTRACT

Oreocharis zhenpingensisis described and illustrated as a new species from Shaanxi province, China. The new species is easily distinguished from O. giraldii by crenate leaf blade margin, unbranched cymes, 1–4-flowered inflorescence, 1–2-dentate calyx lobes margin, yellowish corolla with a shallowly notched upper lip, slightly curved tube to 1.5 cm long, and pistil and capsule pubescent. Comments on the affinities, geographical distribution, ecology, phenology and conservation status of the new species are also provided(Cited from Li et al., 2017).
