In 11^th July, 2017, after reporting a new population and locality of a rare species of Gesneriaceae, Primulina cardaminifolia, which was assessed as “Extinct in the Wild, EW” formerly, was rediscovered by GCC, it is becoming a smash hit! At present, except for the report from GCCC, some professional and governmental websites are reporting this exciting news for this extremely endangered species in Guangxi!

           It is reported that GCCC, GXIB and Guilin Botanical Garden will conduct some scientific researches on this rare and extremely endangered species of Gesneriaceae, a flagship species, then to realize the reintroduction at an early date.
