South China Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences shared a batch of Oreocharis species with GCCC

  Gesneriad Conservation Center of China (GCCC) located in Guilin, Guangxi, was given a batch of Oreocharis species from South China Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It includes about 40 serials / numbers / individuals from previous Tremacron Craib, Thamnocharis W.T. Wang, Isometrum Craib, and so on.

The introduction and cultivation of Oreocharis are very difficult. However, now that the challenge has been gradually overcame, GCCC becomes the key section to effectively introduce and conserve Oreocharis in China, even in Southeast Asia.

The following figures are the Oreocharis species which are being introduced in GCCC.
